a little about me

Joanna Weaver

I have 17 years' experience in garden maintenance, planting and making the very most of outdoor spaces, big or small. I work throughout Suffolk, creating gardens that suit each customer, their life and their budget.

Real gardens, made together

Magazines and pictures are wonderful for ideas, but the finished gardens can be expensive and unrealistic. I start by listening: how you use the space, what you like, what you dislike and what you can comfortably spend. Then we make a practical direction using photos, plant pictures and a good conversation, with a flexible plan that can happen now, in stages or gradually over time. A few pots, a hanging basket or a tiny balcony can bring just as much life, colour and joy as a large garden.

My approach combines a love of plants, colour and garden accessories with the old gardener's rule: right plant, right place. From a packet of seeds, a cutting or dividing plants already in the garden, I can help stretch a budget cleverly while building year-round interest for you and local wildlife.

I can return fortnightly, monthly, twice a year or as agreed to help with maintenance, see how the planting is progressing and suggest ideas for any gaps. I can also help choose planting that is manageable for you. Changing seasons and hotter summers are considered from the outset. I'm friendly, reliable and hardworking, carry public liability insurance, and bring real enthusiasm to every garden.
